Youth Patrol Program
Introduction
This program introduces Youth Patrollers to basic first aid and life saving strategies, providing knowledge for emergency situations that he/she may encounter at home, at school or while playing with friends. Through hands-on and other fun ways to learn, Youth Patrollers will gain cognitive knowledge of National Ski Patrol (NSP) and Wintergreen Ski Patrol (WSP).

Eligibility
To be accepted in the program, all applicants must be between the ages of 11 and 15. In addition, applicants should be comfortable skiing black-diamond terrain, such as that available on the Highlands.

2012 Schedule
Youth patrol meets 12:30pm-3pm on Saturdays. Dates are set - curriculum may change.

Cost Per Child: $100
Cost covers:
  • Eight (8) two and one-half hour instructional sessions
  • Friends and Family CPR books, supplies and certifications
  • T-Shirts
  • Participation Awards
  • End-Of-Season Celebration
